The XLII National Conference on Statistics, Operations Research and Data Science (SEIO 2026) will be a harassment-free conference experience for everyone regardless of gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion (or lack thereof).

All attendees, speakers, organizers and sponsors are required to agree to the following code of conduct. We do not tolerate harassment of SEIO 2026 participants in any form.

Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate in any context of the congress, including talks, social events, social networking and online media in general. Harassment includes (but it is not limited to): stalking; intimidation; unwanted photography or recording; use of sexual or discriminatory imagery, comments, or jokes; offensive verbal comments; inappropriate physical attention.

Participants engaging in harassing behaviour may be sanctioned, will receive a formal warning to stop the behaviour and, if they continue, they will be immediately expelled from the conference without refund.

Please alert a member of staff if you witness any threatening behaviour, someone in distress, or violations of this code of conduct, even if they seem inconsequential.
