How to arrive
The congress of the Spanish Society of Statistics, Operational Research and Data Science (SEIO 2026) will be held at Auditorio de Galicia and at the Faculty of Economics and Bussiness Sciences, in Santiago de Compostela. Both venues are located within five minutes by foot from each other.
Getting to Santiago de Compostela
Santiago de Compostela is easily accessible by different transport modes:
- Plane: Santiago de Compostela has an international airpoty, Santiago-Rosalía de Castro Airport (SCQ), which is located 10km away from the city center, with frequent connetions by bus.
- Train: The train station of Santiago de Compostela connects the city with the main Spanish cities, including a high speed train from Madrid. It also has direct connections with the main Galician cities, such as A Coruña and Vigo.
- Bus: There are regular long distance buses that connect Santiago with Galicianand Spainsh cities.
- Car: The city is well connected through the Galician motorway network (AP-9, AG-56).
