This paper solves streaming platform problems by associating them with claims problems and applying a corresponding claims rule. We study to what extent these claims-based streaming platform rules satisfy desirable properties. In particular, we characterize for each desirable property the class of claims rules that induce a streaming platform rule that satisfies the property.
