Derivative concepts of imprecise functions based on the metric
R. Rodríguez-López
Models based on interval or fuzzy-valued functions are nowadays usual as an interesting way to deal with non-probabilistic uncertainty with applications in several scientific and technological fields, specially in relation with processes depending on factors or data subject to uncertainty. The perspectives followed to address this type of models are various, some of them based on notions for derivatives of fuzzy functions, Zadeh’s Extension Principle, or others, and the solutions to the corresponding models exhibit features depending on the specific perspective considered.
With respect to the use of derivative notions, different types have been proposed, such as H-, GH-, or gH-differentiability, and, recently, some different metric-based derivative concepts have appeared. In this contribution, we present some notions and properties of the solutions concerning some metric-based notions for derivatives of interval or fuzzy functions.
